Visibility Award- This award honors a police officer, corrections officer, or other law enforcement official, whether civilian or uniformed, who identifies as 2SLGBTQIA+. The recipient is an inspirational figure who tirelessly builds positive relationships and trust within their organization, the law enforcement community, and the public. They serve as a role model, support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, uphold high ethical standards, and elevate the profile of 2SLGBTQIA+ issues and individuals within the law enforcement and criminal justice sectors.

Ally Award- This award is presented to a police officer, corrections officer, or other law enforcement official, either civilian or uniformed, who identifies as an ally to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The recipient is an inspirational figure who works diligently to foster positive relationships and trust within their organization, the law enforcement community, and the public. They exemplify high ethical standards, actively support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and enhance the visibility and importance of 2SLGBTQIA+ issues and individuals within the law enforcement and criminal justice fields.
Christopher Kirkpatrick, 2025 Ally Award Winner
Community Award (Civilian nominations only)- This award is presented to a civilian who has shown excellence in providing service of benefit to their community. The recipient is an inspirational leader who tirelessly advocates and works toward the betterment of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. They enhance public trust by doing the critical and sometimes difficult work of building bridges between the community and the criminal justice sector and are seen as a role model by both. 2025 will be the inaugural year for this award.
